Real talk for a second here.
If I’m being honest, the Simply Real Health Group Program has been in the works in my head (and heart) for well over a year. Isn’t that crazy? So, why did it take me so long to launch it? I know you’re dying to ask.
Well, truthfully, because I got a little nervous. If it would work as well as I had hoped. If it would resonate. Motivate, uplift, inspire and encourage. If it would change people for good. If people’s experiences in a group was on the same level of love and care and connection as I had with my one-on-one clients.
I was nervous that people would even want to learn about this stuff: the stuff that actually changes their relationship to food, instead of just handing them a set meal plan, like some of them loved. If they would be willing to dig just a little bit deeper to get to the good, juicy, soulful stuff that mattered to the quality of their life.
But then, I did. And then I got nervous again.
I ran the first pilot group in October. And (nervously) I kept asking for their feedback. Every week, at the mid point, and then again at the end of the 6 weeks.
I was blown away.
So, I did it again. Just to test it out. To make sure it wasn’t just some magical group in the beginning.
Each group had 25 women, so that meant 50 people overall. That I was dying to know:
Did it change them?
Simplify everything?
Light that fire inside them?
Give them clarity and grace with themselves, and more peace and calm and joy?
Did it move them to BIG action in their lives?
And, was it so much different than anything else they’d ever done for themselves?
The answer:
Well, it doesn’t matter what I tell you. Right?
I think it matters more so, what they tell you.
Directly. And in their own words.
These amazing and beautiful 50 women, who I asked to tell their stories, their lives, what they thought, learned, and how’d they’d describe this program to their best friends:
“This way of life is so much easier!! I’m not constantly consumed by the thought of what the heck should I be eating and when should I be eating it. I’m not afraid of food, because I understand it now. I’ll never forget the moment I stepped into Trader Joe’s after the first recording and feeling totally relaxed!”
“I would say that this program is a life-changer and that it’s not about the small fixes you always hear about (eat this, not that, do this, not that, etc). It’s really about making a difference in your overall life and well-being by empowering you with the knowledge and tools to make sustainable BIG changes. It’s not just about food. It’s more. It’s holistic. The program not only focuses on the basics of food and healthy eating, but also on how food plays a significant role in the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life. It’s all interconnected. I would do this program a million times over. And I love that I get to!”
“It’s the total package about how to live your life healthier – not just the traditional diet and exercise, but mentally, physically, spiritually, etc.”
“It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I feel very grateful to have gone through this experience. It’s like a “wake-up-call” in life that has really helped me re-evaluate other areas in my life (not just related to food). I am so inspired to take what I have learned to continue improving/simplifying/balancing other aspects of my life. At the risk of sounding gushy, I am just so deeply thankful for you, Sarah, and that I invested in this for myself.”
“This was so much more than I was hoping for, and I am going to recommend it to every person that I love, I’m really grateful I was able to participate”

“This program is something that helped make me feel healthier & happier about myself and life. It sounds crazy, but it also enriched my relationships with others as well. So powerful.”
“I feel so much more peaceful about food. I don’t have to obsess it anymore, I own my food choices! Being able to define food clutter versus loves has truly shifted my whole perspective around food. I’ve started working out more consistently and having more energy when I come home from work, as well. And I’ve started actually sleeping through the night, and falling asleep quickly, thanks to the sleep week! I’ve also significantly cut my grocery budget while eating more veggies than I ever have, thanks to the meal-planning week.”
“I feel absolutely, entirely different. I feel so much more free from food – I use to think that my cravings and my indulgences controlled me, but now I feel like I can calmly choose foods that make me feel good. Although I am still indulging probably more than I will want to over the course of my life, instead of feeling guilty I am owning my food decisions. I think I recognize now, more than ever, that this is a journey, not a test of perfection, on any given day. I’m continuing to grow and tune into my body and learn things. I feel so much more present and aware and thoughtful about eating. I did everything so mindlessly before when it came to food – planning my meals, indulging, when I ate. Now I am way more mindful about everything. And I can truly say that I hardly eat if I’m not hungry anymore. I use to eat out of boredom or emotions. But now I’m so tuned in to whether or not I’m hungry that I don’t find myself becoming a couch potato on my days off and having snack after snack after snack…just because I was home.”
“Sarah’s program will help you cut through the crazy dieting mentalities and mind games that you’ve struggled with your whole life. It will give you practical, hands-on tools and advice to give you clarity about what to eat and when to eat it. You will feel so in control of your food choices even after 6 weeks!”
“This program gives a life-changing relationship to food. It’s empowering. Positive. Joyful. Spiritual. And soulful. Just like Sarah. The concept of Simply Real Health and the way she teaches it is nurturing and loving, and I never felt shame or failure but rather learned to be kind to myself and reflective of moments of imperfection”
(the program starts again this Monday, March 7th, for the last round until next October 2016). Get more details here, or register here. Space is very limited to ensure an intimate and amazing experience.)
