Because, I’m just gonna guess, between busy days doing your work in this world, having QT with family and friends, um—trying to find the time to workout once in a while, or take a minute for yourself– food can feel like one more thing added to your (already-full) plate of LIFE.
Food consistently kinda gets pushed to the bottom of the list, more often that you probably want to admit.
Until you feel bloated, or feel sick all the time, or that mean little voice of guilt pings in your head, that you’re not cooking and feeding others in your family well enough.
And it’s time to get your act together.
So, you do. Full blown, just like you do everything else in life.
You fill that (online) Amazon or Whole Foods cart right up with #alltheveggies, all at once. You switch your coffee order to americano’s only. And you tell yourself it’s only sparkling water at night from here on out.
Until the inevitable moment you realize that yeah, but…. wait. I still want to enjoy my life too.
But, I wanna be able to drink crisp cold glasses of buttery chardonnay at book club, and eat warm cookies from the oven with my kids, and have the gooey cheese and crackers on girls night, and not have to only order the salad with chicken (with side dressing, please) on date night.
Just because they’re a part of a beautiful life.
To have all the good, but without the guilt and shame.
To eat all the things you want to, but without all that math, the annoying counting or the rigid rules.

I spent most of my life with a terrible relationship to food, and a weird obsession with being healthy. It took a trip to Italy to realize how crazy I was about food, in comparison to those Italian women who were so cool, calm and collected about it– drinking their wine and twirling their pasta without a care in the world. No panic in their eyes, no calculating happening in their brain. They could apparently enjoy and be present with their friends, and love food, without it taking over their lives.
I realized I had never even had a meal like that IN MY LIFE.
So, what happened next, changed my life:
I switched from the crazy-American-lady diet and fitness way of looking at food and it’s math and ratios and components, and just switched to real food, simple and pure.
Everything changed. Physically. But then mentally and emotionally too, soon after. I started cooking for the first time in my life, seeing the beauty in food and it’s wise role in our life. Butter, avocados and organic meat, included (against all the trends I’d spend so long learning, without any result). Food was not as the enemy, the thing to be navigated and battled each day.
It was delicious. And such a simpler, more clear and happy way to live. Physically in the body I had been searching so long for, and mentally and emotionally too. Food was finally CLEAN, CLEAR, and SIMPLE.
But that’s not where the journey ended. In fact, it’s where it all started, to the much more meaningful and juicy journey to a happier, healthier and more joyful relationship to food.
Participating in life’s beautiful moments without guilt or shame, or the need to be perfect.
I spent another 10 years of my life learning and growing and slowly changing, in a process I can so clearly see now. It’s why I wrote this program– so more women worldwide can speed up their journey, to not have to waste years of their life cultivating and growing in a more grounded relationship to food, and to have it feel magically easy and effortless.
The journey to it, cracked open my life (in love, relationships and my work in this world). It has been the biggest gift I have ever given myself, because I carry it with me, every single day of my life. No matter what season of life I’m in, or how my day plays out.
It’s grounded. Joy-inducing. And makes life so much sweeter.
And I want to share it with you, too.
