Truth time: I’m not a big shopper.

I know, probably not all that shocking, when I talk about being intentional about the things in your life all the time. But I like to be really purposeful about what I bring into our home and not fill it with things I know we won’t need/use.)

BUT, when all my favorite brands– or the things I know I use hard every year  go on sale at the same time, you can count me in for a little {virtual} shopping party.

I mean, twist my arm, Nordstrom.

This year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is good one too, you guys. It’s been different timing than usual, and it looks like a lot of stuff is already sold out (but I keep thinking that they’ll add more when it officially opens for earlybird card holders tomorrow August 13th, and to the public on August 19th). But you CAN start a wishlist now that will enable you to just click to buy when it does open vs shuffling around stressed it trying to find stuff.

That’s what I did this year at least, so tomorrow when it opens I have stuff picked out.

I personally use it as a time to stock up on quality home + clothing staples for the whole fam that I know we’ll use all year— and into coming years, too.

(At a discount, mind you… so it’s basically like, we’re tricking the system on things we’d be buying anyway, right??)

Even if you’re not much of shopper like me or you don’t have the patience to wade through crowds/tons of pages of products (*also raises hand*),  I figure if I’m wading through all of it, why not share that work to save YOU some time too, ya know?

I know it’s a precious commodity for most of us around here.

(Well, not with the crowds. Thank GOODNESS for online shopping, esp. in 2020.)

Another pro tip? Get your holiday and family/friends b-day shopping knocked out early, when so much stuff is on maj discount.
