Everything you need for your healthiest + happiest summer yet. Aka, my favorite things as of late.
La Croix Sparkling Water
Sarah’s picks: the coconut or peach pear flavor. Stop it. This is the ultimate 3pm refreshing break. Serve extra cold over ice with a slice of citrus or berries. Or, in cocktails later in the day for the perfect amount of fizz.
Coconut Bliss Ice Cream
Sarah’s picks: because summer is too short to ever deal with an ice cream stomach ache, this coconut milk based iced cream always wins in my book. I love the naked coconut or mint chocolate chip flavors the most. Perfect over a little fruit crumble, with balsamic vinegar and berries or on it’s own. Found in most grocery stores.
Natural Sunscreen
Sarah’s picks: Let’s be honest here for a second. I’m all about wearing sunscreen because I love being in the sun. Nothing makes me happier. But sunscreen isn’t going to do you any good if it’s full of chemicals and weird shiz. Your skin is your biggest organ and it absorbs everything you put on it. So make it good. Just like food. This sunscreen is my favorite and it works great to keep you burn free all summer long. Alba Botanica SPF 30 + SPF 45. The “Hawaiian SPF 30” version smells great too.
Glass Containers (for iced tea, flavored water)
Sarah’s picks: these beautiful containers from Amazon are my new favorite thing. They look great in the fridge and will remind you to drink more water (flavored with fruit and veggies or herbs), or for making your own iced teas and honey simple syrups (way cheaper than buying them).
Yogi Ginger Tea (to ice)
Sarah’s picks: hands down, this Yogi Ginger Tea is the best iced tea I’ve made yet. I’m kind of addicted to it, and it’s caffeine free too, so it’s a great option any hour of the day! I love adding fresh mint to mine. Add 8-10 bags to 1 cup of warm water and let steep for 15-20 minutes. Add another cup of cold water and place in the fridge (in your cute containers above) until you’re ready to pour over ice. Optional to sweeten with honey or maple syrup but it really doesn’t need it. This tea is widely available at Trader Joes, PCC, Whole Foods, and a lot of different grocery stores.
Popsicle Maker
Sarah’s picks: These are so fun. Add leftover green smoothie makings or pureeed berries + cream or coconut milk for amazing + refreshing summer treats at home with half the sugar (and more natural forms of sugar) and other stuff that popsicles have. These perfectly sized ones are a great find from Amazon. Recipe coming soon, watch the blog!
Cheap + Cute Sunglasses
Sarah’s picks: Maybe it’s just me, but I can never keep a pair of sunnies for longer than a few months anyways, cheap ones are the only way to go. Stash in your car, bag, and keep a few around for people to borrow when they come over. Target, for the win. As usual.
Vegetable Spiralizer
Sarah’s picks: You all know I’m obsessed with this. I only mention it about every week on instagram. But, it will change your life. Especially in the summer. Turn carrots, zucchini, yellow squash and beets into noodles to cook or eat raw with a great sauce. All of a sudden, dinner is done without a sweat.
Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Sarah’s picks: You just can’t beat this one at $30. Beach, pool, picnic, road trip and patio ready. Music is happy. And therefore healthy.
Songza
Sarah’s picks: this is a life changing way to find new tunes with these automated playlists based on your current mood or feeling. I was doubtful, and now I just can’t stop. It’s a free app you can download on your phone!
Fun Cocktail + Drink Glasses
Sarah’s picks: I mean, what summer beverage wouldn’t be 10 times better in these glasses? Maybe it will even get you more excited about drinking water too.
check out these ones too…
Coasters
Sarah’s picks: with all those glasses of water and iced refreshing drinks around, you’ll need somewhere to put them. Do it in style these cuties from West Elm.
Makeup/Sunscreen Travel Bag
Sarah’s picks: The perfect place to store that natural sunscreen and daily summer essentials. Handmade and designed by the darling Allie Seidel.
Castelvetrano Olives
Sarah’s picks: the best tasting olive I’ve ever had, and the best little salty snack for picnics, barbecues and hanging with friends. Or, that late mid afternoon time when you’re tempted by the chip closet (not that you have one of those, of course, but you know what I mean). wink.

To be the body in good health is a responsibility… or else we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

Sarah’s picks: You all know I’m fixated on this. I just specify it consistently on instagram. However, it will change your life. Particularly in the mid year. Turn carrots, zucchini, yellow squash and beets into noodles to cook or eat crude with an awesome sauce. Out of the blue, supper is done without a sweat.
