I can’t let today go by without acknowledging a little something.
Exactly one year ago today, I filed for my business license to start this crazy thing called Simply Real Health.
I have never done anymore more scary, challenging and deeply inspiring in my life.
For all of you who regularly read the blog or are clients of mine, I always talk about the importance of finding frequent inspiration in your life. In as many ways as you can.
Whether it’s in the tiny wonders of the earth that catch your eye– flowers blooming, sunrises and sunsets, the stars that appear every single night; the beauty + art-like quality of food as you’re cooking it, teaching yourself a new hobby or task, reading books on things you know little about, seeing pictures, trying a something new and scary, music that beats in your bones — there is one thing for sure.
Being inspired in your daily life makes life a lot more fun.
And meaningful, in the grand scheme of things.
Those that find it are the ones that want to learn, to grow, and to be the best versions of themselves. To live at their highest potential. To take life full force and enjoy the ride that comes along with it.
And no where is that more true than people being inspired by the power of their own health. It’s the realization that the stronger their health is, the better all the other things in life become– how they feel everyday, how they interact with others, their clarity of mind, energy, attitude and zest for life. It’s to fully experience all the things in life they want to be, want to do, want to learn to be the best versions of themselves.
And nothing inspires ME more than that.
So, instead of rambling off all the amazing occurrences of the last year, I just want to take a minute to thank you for my source of inspiration in the last 364 days:
The interest, passion, curiosity, support and the crazy amount of love I have received from all of you with my business, on my mission to help people live their best life, to the fullest potential.
For my clients, who give me their trust, even if they’re skeptical at first. Who get excited about being healthy and living healthy and have that desire to want to learn and grow in a different and deeper way than doing a short-term diet program. THANK YOU. You inspire me in the biggest ways.
For those of you who are even slightly interested in learning more about real-food and my philosophy on it– for the question askers, the blog commentors, facebook posters, instagram lovers, pinterest followers, and dinner snapshot texters/emailers. THANK YOU. You inspire me like crazy (and make me smile and laugh on a daily basis).
For those that have hosted me– for office seminars and programs, healthy cooking or cocktail parties, in-home sessions, or with your kids. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You inspire me (and will forever have me feeling like a magical Mary Poppins with my bags of entire grocery stores by my side. There is no better feeling.)
For those that refer me to their friends and family in droves, that share their excitement, results and love of Simply Real Health, and my mission to help people live better and healthier lives, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You inspire me to keep going, to keep fighting, and to keep doing.
And it’s only going to get better from here.
A healthy + inspired life is what it’s all about.
Here and now.
Me + you all.
Year 2, bring it on.
I think we’re quite ready.

It only took 365 days, but Ash has FINALLY bought in to the “real food” thing. We went on a trip to Belize, and tried to eat real foods, but we weren’t perfect (rum drinks especially). But the whole time, Ash was saying how he’s finally seeing results and he says it’s because of all the vegetables we’ve incorporated into the diet. He even talked about taking all “bad” food out of our pantry. THANK YOU for transforming our house. I refer your website almost daily, and will continue to do so!
Congrats Sarah!
