It’s something that I usually don’t broadcast and share on a wide level in interest, but felt incredibly compelled to share today.
This past week, I asked one of my newer clients, who just completed the Seasonal Meal Plan (with my additional weekly coaching help and accountability), to sit down and write out a few bullet points in her journal about all the good changes, shifts or differences she had noticed since starting to work together; purely so she could keep the list for her future reference. So, she did.
But, when she was finished, she called me to share it. Over the phone, this past Saturday afternoon, I was almost moved to tears (and simultaneous little goosebumps) by her honesty as she was reading it. It gets me every time, like it’s the first time. Getting to see and experience the process that my clients go through in connecting what they are eating to how they feel daily (in all aspects of their life), is one of the biggest blessings in my life–hands down.
And I want more people to have it, to share it, and to know it. It’s what I live for, and what I love more than anything. But, I can only describe it so much in my own words.
And so, today: a pure and open insider peak at what people experience when they make the jump to real food eating — as a lifestyle, instead of a weird and short lived diet, under my watch. I hope it inspires you in some way. These are her words, re-printed word-for-word. Enjoy.] In fact, taking care of your health is also a lifestyle, and cosmetic dentistry can add additional colors to it which you can also achieve using this peroxide gel teeth whitening.

It was almost one of the most challenging, frustrating things I’ve done that I can remember. But I stuck with it, broke through and feel pretty damn awesome that I was able to!
First off, I just physically feel better! I don’t feel bloated which I now recognize I felt a lot. And that goes hand in hand with the puffiness factor. It’s just gone. I noticed this most in two areas…the two areas which I always complained to my trainer about not being able to get rid of no matter how hard we trained. (As a side note, as I complained about this one area – my puffy gut pouch – he told me that beating that started in the kitchen). He was right! After starting this diet overhaul, my lower abdominal mini gut pouch is pretty much NON-EXISTENT! Also, my upper thighs, I always felt like I couldn’t trim this area down and again, since starting this new way of eating, I see a noticeable difference in this area. I feel like this has taken my training/working out to a new level! So just an overall general sense of not being so puffy, more muscle definition and my skin feels tighter (that sounds weird but it does :))!
Also, my weight has stopped fluctuating! One of my frustrations was that it seemed like every couple days I gained 3 lbs then lost it, gained it, lost it….it was pretty annoying and I know now it was because of what I was taking in. My weight for the first time in a long time is STABLE – I have lost one pound and a half even though I didn’t want to lose weight while doing this, but I feel like I know exactly what I weigh and I have stayed there! Even after a weekend of having a few drinks!
My emotional/mental changes…..I feel almost more clear-headed. I’ve become more focused at work. I mean I always was, but I feel like I don’t have as much distraction in my mind…even just from an eating perspective. I’m not thinking about what snack to have, or maybe have that piece of chocolate that is staring at me. This way of eating just helps keeps me more organized and on point.
I also feel like focusing on clean and healthy eating has helped me not focus on the negative issues that I have been working thru the last few months…Ending a 6 year, serious relationship is not by any means an easy thing (especially when you moved across the country together away from your lifelong friends and family)…making this change in my eating, albeit a challenge to not think it was making things worse in the beginning, helped me focus on something positive and kept me on task. So from a physical, mental and emotional standpoint, this change in my eating (along with working out regularly) helped me not fall
into a pile on my couch that would have inevitably let my health spiral out of control.
Eating clean, real food just makes me happy!
I feel motivated to learn more and more about it and it is exciting to just feel like I know exactly what I am putting in my body. Also, I can eat a lot and not feel 1. Guilty and 2. Like crap after I eat a big meal! I actually feel really good after eating a big, healthy meal!! I never have that sluggish, grossly stuffed feeling that I had after eating a big so-called healthy meal.
And finally, I just an overall sense of MOTIVATION and SELF CONTROL….as I mentioned, going through this horrible breakup and life change was so hard, but I feel like this change in eating and working out regularly helped get me through to the other, WAY more positive, side. I feel the best I have ever felt in my life, even with this big piece of my life that is no longer there. It’s crazy to think that a change in eating can help impact your life as much as it did for me! So crazy! But I love it and I’m not going back. Sarah, thank you for pushing me through. Your patience, timely help and encouragement really made a huge difference in so many areas of my life. I am forever grateful to have found you.
