I order my oils from a company called DoTerra, through their wholesale pricing program, which is open for anyone to join if you have a initial invite, which is what I’m linking to below. Like I said, I ignore the sales/business side of it completely, and just do my own thing.
If you want to try them too, here is what to do:
STEP 1: Click HERE + enter your language and country.
STEP 2: Select “Wholesale Customer” (if you just want to use the oils, this is what I’d do). The “Wellness Advocate” option would be if you might be ordering more consistently, want to earn points/perks or would potentially be wanting to recommend them to others. But, if you live outside the US/Canada, do select “Wellness Advocate” so they can ship to you without hassle- nothing else will change if this is the case for you.
STEP 3: Fill in your personal info. The “Enroller ID” should be filled in with the code “3849040” and “Sponsor ID” would say Sarah Doherty (because you have to be “invited” in. Weird, but how they keep them pure and prevent fakes on the market).
STEP 4: Select a starter kit of your choice (the “US Family Essentials & Beadlet Enrollment Kit” is the most basic and the one that I started with). But, any of the kits waive the $35 membership fee , so feel free to pick whatever one speaks to you.
Or, if you want to just start with some single oils instead, just choose the “US Enrollment with doTERRA Essentials Booklet” option (which is the $35 membership fee) and then you can select whatever single oils you want. Add either to your cart.
STEP 5: Finalize your shipping and payment options. Click “Process Order Now & Continue”, and you’re done! Your oils should arrive within a few days.
Need help picking some oils to start with?
I went back and forth forever on this, and ended up doing the US Family Starter Kit first, which was perfect to start with and learn more about a lot of them, and it helped find my favs, while having a great baseline for all kinds of life situations/building out your natural medicine cabinet.
But, if single oils are your jam, these are my very favorites and the ones I use the most often:
Wild Orange or Lemon: for water, sparkling water, making your own cleaning spray, a easy vitamin c boost, and happy uplifting vibes.
Lavender: for sleep or calming before bed– on your wrists or bottoms of feet, adding to a bath with epsom salts, or for general diffusing.
Breathe Blend: ahh at night this is an immediate soother, or to diffuse or rub on the bottoms of your feet before bed.
Deep Blue Blend: I’m straight up addicted to this one. So good for sore muscles, stress, anxiety, any aches and pains, headaches, etc.
Deep Blue Roller: a portable form of the Deep Blue Blend- I keep this one in my purse and car and always take it with me when I travel. Temples, wrists and neck, it’s a cure all for almost anything and a total mood booster too.
Eucalyptus: I love blending this with lavender, adding drops in the shower/bath, and in the morning for a clean boost.
Sandalwood: this might feel too advanced/too expensive for your first order, but it’s one of my all time favorites for grounding, and mixing with rose oil or jojoba oil and putting on my face at night for anti-aging and skin brightening.
Peppermint: the best for neck tension and headaches! I love dabbing it on my neck and temples or using a drop on my tongue after meals. I also love a drop in my green smoothies with cocoa powder (a “mint-chocolate” smoothie), or a drop in brownie batter or chocolate cookies too.
Motivate Blend Roller: this vanilla-cinnamony little roller is so great for traveling, or keeping in your purse/car. I love it after lunch (because it almost smells like dessert? That’s weird). And it makes a great little gift too.
DigestZen Terrazyme Enzymes: This one is newer on my radar, and is in their supplement category, and let me tell you: they are straight up magical. I’ve taken digestive enzymes before for gut health, but these work better than anything else I’ve ever tried. I love taking them after a heavy meal, or when my digestive system needs a little boost. I take 3 at night after dinner on nights I need it.
Favorite accessories:
This diffuser: a few drops of oils + water in here often go down in my office during the day, on during my morning meditations, and sometimes before bed too).
This travel case: like having the best sleep or the best bath of your life, no matter where you are in the world.
This organic, cold-pressed jojoba oil: a great carrier oil to mix essential oils into. I love this for my face and skin.
This organic, cold-pressed rosehip oil: another great carrier oil to mix essential oils into. I alternate this and jojoba for my face and skin.
Sunfood magnesium spray: I love spraying this into cupped hands and mixing with a few drops of oil to rub on the bottoms of my feet, inside of my wrists and on my neck before bed. Magnesium in spray form is super-absorbable, and helps with sleep too, and this is the only brand I’ve found that isn’t itchy. I fall asleep smelling my wrists and it is heavenly!
