Last week, someone asked me how I stay motivated to eat healthy and workout (even when it gets cold and dark outside/being pregnant/whatever other excuse might come up or feel real for you in the moment).
My answer? It’s simple, really. That both of of those things have to be a part of your bigger WHY.
If you’re doing either one to be a certain jean size or number on the scale, or you’re trying to be totally perfect at either, it’s gonna be much harder to stay committed.
For me personally, my WHY is this:
✨I know that what I eat daily and how I move and take care of myself has a DIRECT and IMMEDIATE impact on how I feel: mentally, physically and emotionally. And that impacts how I show up, in all areas of my life. ✨
If I feel good, I do good. I show up fully for myself, my business, and my relationships, and can give to them all out of love and from a full cup.
If I don’t, I play small, make up excuses and can get in a funk.
So, with those 2 things especially, they are big priorities in my life.
My non-negotiables. Things that I MAKE the time and space for first, as a commitment to being the best version of myself.
Because, this time here on earth is short, and I for one, wanna make it count.
Leave a comment below if you agree– or share some of your own non-negotiables too!
