Maternity Clothes (That Don't Give Maternity Vibes)

I’m just gonna say it– maternity clothes can be a tough one.

So many of them are just not cute, and at a time when so much of your body is changing— feeling good shouldn’t have to be something you go without.

I have usually skirted around buying a bunch of maternity clothes (for my first it was the dead of winter and 2 pairs of leggings, a few tank tops, a long dress, and pair of big cozy sweats got me through just fine).

But with these last two pregnancies, I have had peak summer due dates. Which means not only being pregnant in the summer (needing a swimsuit, a few dresses, a pair of shorts, pajamas, etc) but also being postpartum in the same summer season. Making it feel worth having a few things that work with the heat & more occasions in that time frame.

So I thought I’d share my list of favs this time around, in case any of you are in a similar boat and want to fully embrace this very special version of yourself. It’s fun to have 1-3 things you love and feel great in– both during and after the baby is born.
