Quarantine life = why even bother getting ready?
As a new mom who’s worked from home for years at this point, trust me. I get it. There’s a thrill in not getting ready at all, especially in the beginning. Especially when you’re saving so much time by not.
EXCEPT that after a few weeks (like this quarantine), you start to feel a little grungy. Not as inspired. And just kinda blah.
So, this past week, I noticed I was starting to fall into that mentality again. My reasoning was that I didn’t have the time to “waste” on it.: every nap minute is so precious these days. BUT, I started challenging myself, because I knew it would only help me feel good: to set a timer for 1 minute and do a little QUICK refresh. It’s been a great pick-me-up, and makes me feel just a little more normal these days. I’m all about those TINY hacks that shift a lot, especially these days.
