I DO TOO have 3 minutes to spend on myself, even on the craziest days. This is yet another example of how sometimes I still have an ALL OR NOTHING mentality creep in: telling myself OH WHAT’S THE POINT if I can’t do it fully or “properly”? But THAT mindset is what can be so dangerous to listen too. Because small things DO matter. Now, especially so, more than ever.
They all add up. It’s not about the TIME SPENT necessarily, it’s about an energetic shift that happens when you do. Whether that’s pulling yourself together for the day, a workout, some extra veggies snuck into a meal, or a few minutes of breathing.
DON’T LET YOURSELF TELL YOURSELF IT’S NOT WORTH IT. Because it is. And you are.
And changing that MINDSET is the only way to keep living a healthy lifestyle that lasts, through all the ups and downs of life.
