From last week’s instagram post, here is the “recipe” for my Peach + Blueberry Green Smoothie!
And yet another green smoothie to add to your collection.

Or your “collection” is just bookmarked pages of this blog or your well-worn #SRH meal plan pages?
Everyone needs a collection.
Even if you are just started to venture into the world of green smoothies. And especially so if you are a seasoned pro. Making them often is one of the easiest ways to feel great + pump up all of your body’s systems for the day. But not if you are making it with EXACTLY the same thing every morning.
Too much of a good thing isn’t great. From a boredom perspective AND a health perspective.
So it’s important to mix it up. Keeping it fun and exciting by having a bunch of great ideas to change your smoothie contents seasonally, and to incorporate new kinds of energizing fruits + veggies into your life is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
Trust me. I know.
I’ve spent a lot of time making green smoothies. A lot. And a lot of testing to mix up my usual favorites.
So, I definately have a collection. And now, it’s all up for grabs if you need some new ideas. Ingredients:
3 leaves kale (leafy green kind)
3 cups spinach
1/4-1/2 banana
3 peach slices (frozen)
3 TB hemp protein (optional) (I use this kind from Manitoba Harvest because of their extremely clean ingredient list)
1/4 cup coconut water + 1/4 cup water + 2 handfuls ice
Blend all ingredients together, waiting to add the ice until you blend everything else first. Pour into glass mason jars to take with you on the go!
