So. Halloween is next week, making it the official kickoff of the holiday season.
And thus, PARTY SEASON.
[…insert freak out…]Can we talk about this for a minute?
I want to help you catch this early.
You know.
Instead of just ignoring it and blissfully letting you sip your daily pumpkin spice lattes, sneaking a few baby [oh they’re so small, it almost doesn’t count] Snickers bars from the nearest candy bowl, and curling up with a cozy pasta dinner more often than not. Because it’s too dark and cold to do anything else. Weeknights at least.
The weekends, you’ve got drinking at tailgates, football games, dinners with friends, eating whatever is around or easy [pizza] and then spend all day Sunday feeling tired and in need of another weekend day.
Ah, Fall.
Then, Halloween hits. And the flood gates open wide. From candy corn to free flowing alcohol, so many desserts, nights out, parties in, and with it, so many great opportunities to indulge in more decadent and comforting stuff.
eh. You might as well, right?
Right. Keep the train right on rolling.
Which is totally cool, if you feel great everyday and have no problem typically getting to January without some extra buddies hanging around.
[fatigue, sluggishness, low energy, a sugar addiction, tight jeans and a new affinity for slouchy + baggy clothes, problems sleeping, breakouts or dry skin, being hungry all the time, a disinterest in the veggies you know you should still be eating, puffiness, etc. Definition of the extra friends that you never even asked for.]
Does it strike anyone else as odd that it’s also the time of year that you see the most people?! Family, friends, acquaintances, etc? And you feel and look your worst all year?
I can hardly stand the irony.
Good thing there’s a better way to go about it. For real.
A way that doesn’t include giving up drinking, eating desserts and having awesome parties. Because if you know anything about me, you know I love all of those things. Always have. Always will. Because they don’t ruin me anymore.
And there are some great tricks to balancing it all, looking smokin’ hot and feeling even better through this season of massive parties, pumpkin carvings, gatherings, drinking, dinners, tailgates, and holidays.
How?
Well, let me introduce your new best friend.

Hi Sarah,
Was so excited about this eBook!
I bought it on Amazon but the PDF version of the eBook never arrived 🙁
Called them and they said that the PDF is not included with the sale. any ideas on how I can get a copy?
Sarah Adler of Simply Real Health says
Hi! If you purchase the ebook on Amazon, it’s just a ebook for tablets, kindle, etc. The PDF is different, and would be right through the Srh website and comes from me. Does that make sense?
