Just gonna leave this riiight here because BLACKBERRY SEASON (the best season of them all). Also, selfishly needed it this morning after our (very serious) blackberry hunt yesterday…. and it’s a sneak peek recipe from the 2nd cookbook, Simply Real Eating (out this November, and on presale now) for you guys to try!
But warning, for real. They’re addicting.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
️SIMPLY REAL HEALTH GF BLACKBERRY SCONES
1 container/2 cups blackberries (o
1 cup GF oats
1 cup blanched almond meal
1 cup small shredded coconut flakes
8 tablespoons grass fed butter or ghee, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients together and mix well, adding berries last. Form into triangle shaped scones, squeezing the batter to help them hold their triangle shape, and bake on a parchment lined baking sheet for 25-28 minutes.
Happy Labor Day weekend to you all!

Love your blog, website, cookbook, ideas, inspirations, all of it! You are a fantastic role model for all of us looking introspectively into our lives and our health (mental, physical, emotional and spiritual). I was interested in recommending the prenatal vitamin you took for your pregnancy. One question: There is a warning on the bottle:
“This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.” Did you ever get any information on this warning? I was thinking of calling the company, but also wanted your take on it. Thank you so much! Thanks again for being YOU and spreading sunshine and inspiration everywhere you go!
