For those days when all you want is coffee, but all you need is more steady energy. Coffee, but minus the crash, sugar cravings, and bad sleep at night that usually follows.
So you can dominate your day. And feel like Beyonce while doing it. Or close, at least.
Amiright?
Watch the video here and learn to make this amazing little boost of a drink at home:
Iced Matcha Almond Milk Latte
Makes 1 serving
1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
1/2 cup water, just slightly warmed
1/4-1/2 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon (or more) maple syrup (grade b), or raw honey (optional)
ice, lots of it
Directions:
Warm 1/2 cup water. Add 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder to the water and stir in well. Use a whisk if you have one. Add in milk of your choice, and/or maple syrup or honey (optional).
Pour tea over ice, in a mug first to prevent cracking. Add more ice to a glass, then pour matcha over. Serve cold.
Fun straw mandatory.
If you try this, let me know how it goes! Leave a comment below about how you feel afterwards (especially if you use it instead of coffee). Happy sipping sweet friends.

This is delicious! I have matcha green tea powder in the house to make green tea ice cream so I welcomed the idea of having another use for it. Definitely a good coffee substitute. Thanks!

I can’t drink coffee. I get the worst drop. I usually drink iced tea and this was a delicious creamy substitute. Thanks!! Great post workout!

Love it! Going to try it this afternoon. I’ve been experimenting with matcha lately, but this video had some awesome tips I want to try! What’s your thought on coconut milk instead of almond milk?
