Last week, I wrapped up my 6th week and second full group of amazing women in the (BIG) Group Program. And, I gotta tell you. Even my own mind is blown by how far they’ve come, and the difference in their daily lives, just six weeks after we started.
In their overall health, yes.
They’re healthier, physically and in their bodies. Most of them have lost some weight and feel like their food is dialed in. That’s for sure. They’re eating all real food, and loving it. Their families and hubbies too (and, happily, I might add).
But, more than that, over these past six weeks, I’ve seen more of a lasting shift. A permanent one.
Because, after the real food piece, we went deep. In the best possible way, not the scary kind of way. We actually spent most of the time working on their inner self too. Their relationship to food. The thoughts in their heads that can sometimes overrun the best intentions.
The mental, emotional, spiritual side, that has to be good and healthy and CALM and PEACEFUL, for there to ever be outer change that really makes a difference.
These women (50, in total from the 2 groups), are amazing. They were amazing when they started, because they realized this equation above. That they could continue to do program after program, and diet after diet, but still be unsatisfied, confused, and have a crazy sort of relationship to food that never goes away.
Or, they could do something about it, to actually address it. To acknowledge we all have this relationship to food thing. And, to help it. Love on it. Encourage it. Open it up and let the light shine in. That kind of a thing.
To find more productive and beautiful ways to get at the core of what your body is trying to tell you (mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically).
I mean, to be real, that’s why I call it the BIG Group Program. These are big things. Life changing things, actually. And the key to a healthy lifestyle that lasts over decades, instead of just short spurts of being good and being bad. And then feeling guilty both phases.
That is no way to live. I’m sure of it.
Because the opposite- to feel alive, engaged fully with life, calm, satisfied, happy and healthy means you can do what you were put on this Earth to do. With clarity.
To be able to give more openly and lovingly to other people, let’s say. To have the capacity to use your gifts or your time to do things that matter (even in small ways). To clear the clutter that weighs us down and often prevents it from starting. To use your time here, in ways that matter to the bigger picture of your life, or other people’s lives.
That’s why it matters.
To me, at least. To build a community of women of all ages who think and believe and feel the same. A tribe of women, living their lives how they want to, in all areas. With confidence. And ease. And a deeper happiness.
Because, that is true health. And the core of living a truly healthy lifestyle, from the inside out, and for all of your days.
And it all starts again on March 7th.
The last group program that will be offered until late next Fall.
